Some Comic Relief for Moogies

Last week we were asked if we would cover part of a unique Comic Relief challenge; a group of presenters from BBC Radio Shropshire were taking on a 20 mile walk from Bridgnorth to the top of the Wrekin – all whilst carrying a 2 metre wide red nose!

Clearly it is an honour to be working with the BBC in any capacity, and the nature of the task made it even more exciting as it all came down to timing. Our role was to capture the final moments of the walk, including the on-air live piece from the presenters’ point of view, and of course, the bursting of the Red Nose! The giant red inflatable ball had done its job by accompanying the presenters to the top of the Wrekin, but it didn’t need to go back down…

Once we had captured the footage, we had to rush down the hill to submit the videos to the BBC, with the hope of them making it onto the local updates and news bulletins for that evening, as well as the BBC social channels where the coverage has now been shared far and wide. We were also granted permission to use the footage on our own channels too - take a look at our Facebook and Instagram pages for pictures and videos, and watch our edited video here on Youtube: https://youtu.be/1X64EBehK2U

The whole experience was an absolute thrill, and the presenters Adam Green, Richard Tisdale and Andy Broxton deserve a huge amount of credit for completing the amazing feat and raising an incredible amount of money for Comic Relief 2022.

Business is all about living and learning from experiences, and we have no doubt that this was invaluable to the future of Moogies Media, with another great name to add to our portfolio of excellent clients.
