So busy that we forgot to blog!
We knew 2022 was going to be a big year; all events were coming back and COVID-19 restrictions would disappear. ‘Great’, we thought! It’s going to be busy, but we can get back out there and interact with customers and friends, where we belong.
What we didn’t consider was that there would be events every weekend, sometimes several events on the same day, and that Moogies Media would grow at such a rate that our work would take us nationwide like never before.
Being honest, we have loved every minute and wouldn’t change a thing - well, maybe a few extra hours sleep every now and then…but other than that, we have had an incredible spring/summer of 2022.
Hopefully you are subscribed to our social media and video channels, as we do our very best to share our journey on these. If you’re not, what are you waiting for! The links are above for you to take a look.
Just a few highlights include the usual food festivals, Shrewsbury Flower Show, and horse racing events, but this year has also included a balloon festival, Wacky Races, and a boat race on the river Severn. In addition, we have also entered the world of comedy podcasts!
All of that is just the events element of Moogies - on the corporate side we have been working in partnership with a security business, creating time lapse videos of the building sites they’re monitoring, which has taken us to Havant, Basingstoke, Tewksbury, Northampton and most interestingly, Staines. Mainly because we were flying a drone five miles from Heathrow airport… this took a lot of planning but was achievable, even though on arrival we had to wait for a couple of hours whilst the fog lifted!
We have also entered into a new contract with a vehicle security company that is developing advanced technologies, and keeping us safe one car at a time. In addition, we’ve been doing a lot in the world of agriculture; who knew that cows were such good actors and easy to direct, until they charge of course…
We can’t forget the kitchen worktop company we assisted this summer which involved creating the same video in landscape and portrait mode, nor our HR client who, due to the cost of living and energy crisis, may have a challenging winter ahead supporting clients. Oh, and an automotive exhibition business helping cover some fantastic prize giving and charity cheque presentations across the UK.
As we enter quarter four, we couldn’t be more excited. Our role in the new world will be to ensure that businesses stay in the public eye, as we all know there will be a tough few months ahead. All we can urge businesses to do is increase their marketing efforts to stay in the minds of current and potential customers, after all, we are all aware of the saying ‘out of sight, out of mind’.
As always, we wish everyone the best and let’s keep small businesses trading by working together.
